On August 9, 2022, the Amarillo Police Department (APD) executed a search warrant at 2709 NE 20th Avenue, Amarillo, Texas. Antonio Datrill Owensby, and others, resided there.

A search of the residence yielded the 26 firearms in paragraph one of this factual resume. Most of the firearms were found in Owensby's or his mother's bedroom. One of the occupants of the residence stated that Owensby would loan money to others and hold firearms as collateral for the loans. In a later interview with Owensby, he confirmed that statement and admitted that he would act as a "pawn shop" for firearms and get an extra $50 or SO for doing it. Owensby admits that he knowingly possessed at least one of the firearms described in paragraph one of this factual resume.


On August 9, 2022, Amarillo Police Department (APD) officers were watching 2709 20th Avenue, Amarillo, Texas. A Lincoln Town Car with an invalid temporary tag left the residence and APD did a traffic stop of the car for the invalid tag. APD officers identified the driver and sole occupant as Kendrick Esteban Ford. APD officers saw a bag with a crystalline substance that looked like methamphetamine in the passenger seat and placed Ford under arrest. The substance later field tested positive for the presence of methamphetamine.
