Rickey Lavern Jones, 48, was found dead in an apartment at 2033 S. Hughes St. with a single gunshot wound to the head Feb. 7. A gun was recovered at the scene and a man was arrested on suspicion of murder. A Potter County grand jury later refused to indict the man.

• Investigators found that prior to the slaying, Jones forced entry into the apartment, where he had lived until moving out a few weeks earlier.
