The Amarillo Police Department's Special Crimes Unit is investigating a homicide that happened in the early morning hours on Tuesday. According to APD, at about 2 a. m. , officers responded to the 700 block of S. Browning on a report that someone had been shot. Upon arrival, officers found a woman deceased inside a home. The victim was identified as 34-year-old Kaci Leann Trisler. No arrest has been made at this time.
