AMARILLO, Texas (KVII) — A 30-year-old man has been indicted for a murder that happened in July.

According to court documents, Matthew Dewon Wilson was indicted on Wednesday for the murder of Brandon Lamar Washington.

Washington was found dead from gunshot wounds in the 800- block of North Tyler in a convenience store parking lot in the early morning hours of July 19. Wilson was arrested for the murder later that day, according to police.

Court documents show an enhancement for Deadly Conduct - Discharging a Firearm, which Wilson was convicted of in 2007.
