| AMARILLO, Texas (KVII) — Police are searching for the suspect responsible for early Wednesday morning fatal shooting. |
According to APD, at 1:14 a.m. officers were sent to Amarillo Boulevard West and North Polk about shots fired and a person on the ground. The victim has been identified as 26-year-old Brandon Lamar Washington.
Officers found the Washington in the 800- block of North Tyler in a convenience store parking lot.
According to officials, Washington was taken to the hospital and was pronounced dead from gunshot wounds.
At this time, this incident is still under investigation and no arrests have been made.
