Pampa couple arrested for kidnapping Amarillo girl in March

A husband and wife from Pampa were arrested on Wednesday in connection with a Randall County kidnapping case, according to authorities. The Randall County Sheriff's Office says they received information on the whereabouts of two suspects wanted in connection with a kidnapping case that happened in March. During the initial incident, a female was kidnapped from an Amarillo restaurant and driven into Randall County.

RANDALL COUNTY, Texas (KVII) — A husband and wife from Pampa were arrested on Wednesday in connection with a Randall County kidnapping case, according to authorities.
The Randall County Sheriff's Office says they received information on the whereabouts of two suspects wanted in connection with a kidnapping case that happened in March. During the initial incident, a female was kidnapped from an Amarillo restaurant and driven into Randall County.
While the victim was in the vehicle, she was assaulted by two individuals, who were later identified as 44-year-old Christopher Paul Givens and 28-year-old Tristin Janae Givens, both of Pampa.
The victim was able to escape the vehicle on S. Osage Street where a passerby called 911 after seeing what was taking place.
The suspects were known to the victim and felony warrants for their arrests on charges of aggravated kidnapping were issued.
The Sheriff's Office received information that both suspects were at a residence located in the 300 block of FM 1151 (Claude Highway). The Randall County SWAT Team attempted to make contact with the individuals in the residence.
Authorities determined there were four people inside the residence, two of the other people inside cooperated with police and exited the residence.
After a short standoff, Christopher and Tristin Givens came out and were taken into custody without further incident.
One of the other individuals was also arrested after authorities discovered they had a warrant for a probation violation on a previous drug charge.
All three were booked into the Randall County Jail.
The Randall County Sheriff's Office's Criminal Investigation Division continues to investigate the case.
