Shane Taylor, 18, was arrested March 13 in connection with the 1997 shooting death of 15-year-old Jeremy Plan. Taylor and Plan were standing in Blan's driveway July 28, 1997 when Plan was shot in the chest with a .22 caliber gun. He died in the Driveway

Following the shooting, Taylor told police that men in a black car drove by and shot BLan. Three years later, Taylor told police he accidentally shot Blan and that he panicked and made up the story. The case was turned over to the juvenile probation office.
