An Amarillo man was indicted for shooting and killing a man in Potter County back in November. According to court documents, a Potter County Grand Jury indicted Aaron James Reed, 34, for the murder of 59-year-old Mark Pickering on Nov. 11, 2018. According to the Amarillo Police Department, officers were sent to a shooting in the 100 block of North Maryland Street at about 11:25 a. m. Police located Mark Pickering, 59, deceased inside the residence.

AMARILLO, Texas (KVII) — An Amarillo man was indicted for shooting and killing a man in Potter County back in November.

According to court documents, a Potter County Grand Jury indicted Aaron James Reed, 34, for the murder of 59-year-old Mark Pickering on Nov. 11, 2018.

According to the Amarillo Police Department, officers were sent to a shooting in the 100 block of North Maryland Street at about 11:25 a.m. Police located Mark Pickering, 59, deceased inside the residence.

Reed was also inside the residence with Pickering. The investigation determined that Reed shot Pickering multiple times following an argument.
