Scott Charles Miller, 42, died June 29 after being shot in a vehicle outside the home of Trampest Jay Helton, 23. Helton was charged with murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in connection with Miller’s death and the non-fatal shooting of Miller’s companion, Tony Monroe Lewis, 50.

A Potter County grand jury indicted Helton on the murder charge in September.
