Kenneth James Malone, 18, was killed in a drive-by shooting on June 18. Police arrived on the scene of the shooting to find Malone lying in the street in a fetal position with a bullet in his head.

Less than a week later, police arrested Joaquin Villareal Castillo, 19, in connection with the shooting. Castillo was indicted on murder charges Oct. 29.
