On March 12, 2021, the Amarillo Police Department (APD) Narcotics Unit obtained a state search warrant signed by City of Amarillo Judge Laura Hamilton for 510 Loesh Street, Amarillo, TX being occupied by Jesus Manuel TREJO Jr. At approximately 4:55 pm, Agents executed the above search warrant. APD agents encountered Jesus TREJO JR, Robert REYES and two female children inside the residence. APD Agents documented the residence and items seized via photographs. The following item was seized:
Five (5) clear heat-sealed bags containing a white crystal-like substance that tested a positive for methamphetamine were located by APD Huerta. Agent Huerta located two of the five bags of methamphetamine inside a brown paper bag located behind a trash can in the kitchen. Agent Huerta also located the other three bags of methamphetamine in a blender box located on the garage floor. The Meth weighed approximately 2.4 kilograms.
APD Agents Bissoni and Koval conducted a mirandized interview with TREJO. During the mirandized interview, TREJO explained that the reason he got back into selling drugs was because a guy asked TREJO for a favor. Throughout the interview, TREJO made statements that he was worried about APD Agents taking all his narcotics and money inside of the house because TREJO wouldn't be able to pay back his methamphetamine.
