A woman's death has been ruled a homicide after initially being called into authorities as a cardiac call on Wednesday afternoon. According to the Amarillo Police Department, at about 1:50 p. m. , officers were sent to 3611 NE 17th Avenue on a reported cardiac call. Upon arrival, officers found a deceased person at the residence. APD's Special Crimes Unit is looking to contact the residents of the home. The deceased person was identified as 24-year-old Kennee Allynn Griffing.
