Perry, of Amarillo, died after an altercation near the lake. Two men were arguing in a van when Perry, the driver, lost control, and it plunged into the lake, police said. Jimmy Cowan (41) was charged with murder in connection to the death. Cowan was being held at the Potter County Detention Center on a $500,000 bond
