AMARILLO, Texas (KVII) — Three women were arrested in connection to the robbery of a Family Dollar store Tuesday in Amarillo, according to the Amarillo Police Department.

Police say Ariel Storrs, Destiney Lynch and Brandy Garcia were arrested for robbing the Family Dollar on Martin Road just before 10:30 Tuesday morning.

Officials said the store employee reported the women asked about merchandise and that one of the women was caught hiding items from the store.

Police said when the employee blocked them from the door, one of the suspects threatened to taze her.

They said the suspects then left in a blue Saturn car, which officers found near I-40 and Ross.

Storrs and Garcia were arrested for robbery and booked into the Potter County Detention Center. Carlile was arrested for 9 local municipal warrants and booked into the Randall County Jail.
