2 charged after shots fired Monday

Amarillo police arrested two men on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after a shots-fired call Monday morning near East Amarillo Boulevard, authorities said. No injuries were reported.

About 4:50 a.m., police responded to the 800 block of North Highland Street and found a home had been struck by gunfire, authorities said.

Lester Lee Patterson, 21, and Semaj Deveion Dora, 21, were identified as suspects, police said. Officers arrested Patterson and Dora, who were booked into Potter County jail, police said.
