We have new information in the death of an Amarillo man.

The Amarillo Police Department has identified 22-year-old Ryan Christopher Garcia by taking a fingerprint sample.

As we first told you on the weekend edition, Garcia's badly decomposed body was found in a ditch at 500 West Givens Saturday.

He had been missing since December, but a missing person's report was not filed until January of this year.

An autopsy is being performed today to help find the cause of death.
