Man arrested for murder after woman found dead in mobile home at Happy RV

HAPPY, Texas (KFDA) - A man was arrested today for murder after a woman was found dead at a mobile home in Happy last week.

According to the release, today the Texas Rangers arrested 21-year-old Eduardo Reyna Barrientos for the murder of 29-year-old Tess Birkenfield.

Barrientos was booked into the Swisher County Jail.

He is being held on a $250,000 bond.

The Texas Rangers, Swisher & Briscoe County Sheriff’s Offices, Texas Parks & Wildlife, and The Tulia Police Department all assisted in the investigation.
