AMARILLO, Texas (KVII) — UPDATE: 3 p.m.
The Amarillo Police Department is searching for witnesses of Tuesday night's shooting in the parking lot at 5807 SW 45th Avenue.
According to APD, the officers dispatched saw several vehicles leaving the parking and officers stopped one truck while it was leaving. The driver got out and told police that he had been shot.
He then showed the officer an injury to his right shoulder. Officers said it had the appearance of a laceration and could have been a grazing bullet wound.
The man declined an ambulance and drove himself to the hospital.
Officers spoke to the second victim at the hospital, who reported that a fight had broken out in the parking lot. He heard shots and was trying to get behind a car when a bullet hit him in the right arm.
Neither man's injuries are life-threatening.
The initial information provided by witnesses is that several people in the parking lot and a fight broke out between the groups. Shots were fired and the two men sustained injuries.
Investigators are continuing to review this case.

ORIGINAL STORY: The Amarillo Police Department is investigating an incident that left two men hospitalized with apparent gunshot wounds on Tuesday night.
According to officials, at about 11:55 p.m., officers responded to a potential aggravated assault in the parking lot of 5807 SW 45th Avenue. The officers determined that two men, ages 18 and 22, had suffered non-life-threatening gunshots wounds during an altercation involving a group of people in the parking lot.
Both men were transported to the hospital by private conveyance.
Police recovered 24 cartridge casings from the parking lot but no firearms were recovered. No arrests have been made at this time.
