The Amarillo Fire Department has extinguished a fire at an abandoned house on SE 10th and Dallas on Thursday morning. According to AFD officials, units responded to a structure fire at SE 10th and Dallas at about 11:39 a. m. Crews arrived quickly and found a small, abandoned house boarded up with flames and smoke showing from cracks of plywood covering windows and a door. Firefighters removed the plywood and went inside the building to extinguish the fire.

AMARILLO, Texas (KVII) — The Amarillo Fire Department has extinguished a fire at an abandoned house on SE 10th and Dallas on Thursday morning.
According to AFD officials, units responded to a structure fire at SE 10th and Dallas at about 11:39 a.m.
Crews arrived quickly and found a small, abandoned house boarded up with flames and smoke showing from cracks of plywood covering windows and a door.
Firefighters removed the plywood and went inside the building to extinguish the fire.
No one was injured and the house had no utilities.
The Amarillo Fire Marshal's Office is investigating the fire.
