Arraigned For Murder

DIMMITT, Dec. 30 - Elisandro Nova, 17, of Dimmitt, was arraigned today on charges of murder with malice before Bruce Wooddell, justice of the peace.

Wooddell set bond at $5,000 and Nova was remanded to Castro County Jail.

Nova is charged with the shooting death of his 21-year-old brother, Wallie Torres Nova, early Sunday morning on State Highway 86 about two miles east of here, during a domestic quarrel

The older Nova was killed by a 22 caliber bullet through the heart. Funeral services were held this afternoon at the Emacuate Conception Catholic Church here
