PERRYTON - Capital murder charges were filed yesterday against a 19-year-old Perryton man in connection with the stabbing death of 23-year-old Loura Lea Buck last Wednesday.
Charles Ray Gregor, who has been held since Thursday in Ochiltree Coun- ty jail on theft charges stemming from the removal of a pistol from the Buck mobile home, was arraigned before Justice of the Peace Haroid Hulsey. Bond was denied.
The murder charges were filed by Ochiltree County Sheriff Ray Phagan.
Assistant District Attorney Dale Elliott requested that bond be denied for Gregor. Gregor was being held on a $1,000 bond on the theft charges.
The new charge reads, " '...he did then and there intentionally...cause the death of Loura Lea Buck by stabbing her..in the course of committing the offense of burglary..."
Gregor, who asked no questions and made no statements while being for- mally charged, appeared before Judge Hulsey in coveralls. He was barefooted and he chainsmoked throughout the hearing.
Mrs. Buck, the mother of three small children, all under age 6, was apparently murdered sometime early last Wednesday. The cries and screams of the youngsters resulted in her body be- ing found by an off-duty Perryton policeman.
She had been stabbed twice in the chest and was found in a bed inside her mobile home in Boren Trailer Courts about 8 a.m. Wednesday.
Mrs. Buck was apparently alone with her children when she was attacked, police said. Her husband, Raymond Buck, was working on a construction job in Capitan, N.M., for his father's firm.
Sheriff Phagan said a polygraph test was given Friday to Gregor after he had been arrested and charged with the theft of an air pistol from the mobile
