Amarillo fire crews were at the scene of a house fire early Friday morning at 802 Browning Street. According to a release, crews were called to the fire around 1:45 a. m. When they got to the scene, they found smoke coming from the front porch of a vacant home. Nobody was inside when the fire sparked, and nobody was injured. Crews brought the fire under control by 1:57 a. m. Around $10,000 of damage was caused. The fire marshal's office is investigating the cause of the blaze.
