2nd Amarillo Family Dollar robbed this week

Wed, 29 Apr 2015 15:14:30 GMT — The second Amarillo Family Dollar was robbed this week. This time the store was located near 6th & Western.

On April 28 at almost 10 p.m., Amarillo police officers were dispatched to the Family Dollar at 433 S. Western in reference to an aggravated robbery. Officers arrived three minutes later to find that someone had robbed the store at gunpoint.

The suspect is described as an unknown age black man wearing a gray beanie, a maroon bandana, green shirt, blue pants, and light colored shoes. He was armed with a large black hand gun. The suspect was carrying a white trash bag and demanded money from the two female employees. The suspect took an undisclosed amount of money from the business.

No one was injured during the robbery.
