Amarillo Crime Stoppers is asking for help catching two women accused of robbing a Family Dollar and pulling a knife on an employee who tried to stop them. According to police, the suspects tried to make a purchase around 10 p. m. on May 21 at the store on SW 10th Ave. near Georgia Street. When their card was declined, police said the women left the store with the merchandise. When an employee confronted the women, one of them pulled a knife on the employee, according to police.

AMARILLO, Texas (KVII) — Amarillo Crime Stoppers is asking for help catching two women accused of robbing a Family Dollar and pulling a knife on an employee who tried to stop them.

According to police, the suspects tried to make a purchase around 10 p.m. on May 21 at the store on SW 10th Ave. near Georgia Street.

When their card was declined, police said the women left the store with the merchandise.

When an employee confronted the women, one of them pulled a knife on the employee, according to police.

The women left the scene in a red Ford F-150.
