SHAMROCK, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — What was initially being called a questionable death is now being called a homicide, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

DPS said on Friday, around 7:00 a.m., the Wheeler County Sheriff’s Office requested the assistance of The DPS Texas Rangers for a murder investigation. DPS said Sabrina Bowen, 20, of Shamrock, was found in the 900 block of Madden St. in Shamrock.

As a result, 23-year-old Denver Page of Shamrock was arrested and booked into the Wheeler County Jail on the charge of murder, according to DPS.

DPS also added that the investigation is ongoing and no further details are available.
