Lubbock, TX - Day seven of the Dixon murder trial begins as the prosecution brings forth more evidence linked to the murder plot of Dr. Joseph Sonnier of Lubbock
Monday evidence of text messages between David Shepard and Dr. Thomas Michael Dixon revealed conversations of the two coming up with a plan that was to be executed in Lubbock.
Today, these texts were reconfirmed as deleted messages, investigators also confirm finding search history in Shepard's phone related to largest handguns, GPS tracker, TxDOT highway cameras and gold and silver buyers in Amarillo.
The state questioned the records keeper of a pawn shop in Amarillo who confirms David Shepard sold her 2 100 ounce silver bars a couple days after the murder.
The state also called a member of the Amarillo Police Department dive team responsible for retrieving a gun from Lake Dunivan also known as Lawrence Lake in Amarillo.
