| A relative discovered the body of Imogene Wilmoth Harris, 84, on Aug. 14, 2011, in the North Gaines Street home where she lived with her disabled daughter in northwest Tulia, a DPS spokesman said earlier. |
Harris' daughter was home at the time of the slaying, but authorities have not released her name.
After the slaying, the daughter was taken to a Plainview hospital, where she was examined and later released.
Harris died of blunt force trauma, authorities said.
