A woman is arrested in connection with Amarillo's latest homicide.

Special Crimes says 27 year old Jacquelyn Renee Morrell is in the Potter County Detention Center this afternoon on 100-thousand dollars bond.

The body of 64 year old Ivan Thompson was discovered just before noon on Tuesday in his home on West 11th Street in Amarillo.

Preliminary autopsy results show Thompson died from a stab wound. The homicide investigation is ongoing at this time.
