Cannon's body has been sent to Lubbock for an autopsy.

COLLINGSWORTH COUNTY, Texas (KFDA) - Officials with the Texas Department of Public Safety have released the identity of the person found dead in Collingsworth County Friday.

According to Sergeant Cindy Barkley, the body was identified as 39-year-old Frankie Cannon of Wellington.

Cannon’s body has been sent to Lubbock for an autopsy.

The Texas Rangers continue to investigate this death.
