Police arrested two people on drug and other charges Friday after a morning stop in east Amarillo.
About midnight, officers spotted William Henry Mullane, 32, pushing a motorcycle in a turn lane at 3800 E. Amarillo Blvd., where Stormie Jean Davis, 21, followed behind him.
Police arrested Mullane on outstanding local traffic warrants and a drug possession charge, Amarillo Police Cpl. Jerry Neufeld said. Davis was taken into custody after officers found drug paraphernalia, several debit and credit cards and a revolver in her backpack, Neufeld said. She also was charged with possession of a firearm by a felon, fraudulent use of identifying information, possessing drug paraphernalia and pedestrian in a roadway.
Both suspects remain in the Potter County jail.
Neufeld said the motorcycle was not reported stolen at the time and was impounded.
