A 28-year-old Amarillo woman has been arrested for the shooting death of her 25-year-old husband on Sept. 29. According to Amarillo Police, officers were dispatched to 5003 Bowie on a shooting. The victim, identified as 25-year-old Aaron Carter, was taken to a local hospital where he later died from his injuries. The Amarillo Police Department's Homicide Unit investigated and determined Carter was murdered.

AMARILLO, Texas (KVII) — A 28-year-old Amarillo woman has been arrested for the shooting death of her 25-year-old husband on Sept. 29.

According to Amarillo Police, officers were dispatched to 5003 Bowie on a shooting. The victim, identified as 25-year-old Aaron Carter, was taken to a local hospital where he later died from his injuries.

The Amarillo Police Department's Homicide Unit investigated and determined Carter was murdered.

On Thursday, Carter's wife, 28-year-old Brittany Carter, was arrested on a murder warrant and booked into the Randall County Detention Center.
