On October 12, 2018, law enforcement executed a search warrant at the residence of Logan Lawrence, located at 1707 S. Hayden Street, Amarillo, Texas. Upon entry, Texas Department of Public Safety Special Agent (DPS SA) Bill Brown observed Lawrence with a plastic sack in her hand as she ran down the hallway. SA Brown reached Lawrence in the hallway and detained her. The plastic sack was found behind a mattress in the hallway where Lawrence was detained.

The sack contained 859 net grams of methamphetamine. During a search of the residence, a currency counter and digital scales were located.

Madison Ward and Trinidy Allen were located inside the residence at the time the search was conducted, Ward stated that she observed Lawrence with the plastic sack that contained "a lot of narcotics."

Allen was found in possession of 29.182 net grams of methamphetamine. Allen admitted to being supplied by Lawrence.
