RANDALL COUNTY, Texas (KVII) — A Randall County grand jury has indicted a woman accused of the Dec. 2019 murder of Richard Garza.
The Randall County District Attorney's Office said Thursday that 47-year-old Mollie Williams Franklin, also known as Kristina Williams, was formally indicted on a murder charge on Wednesday.
Garza, also known as Richard Pedraza, was found dead on Dec. 17, 2019, his 30th birthday.

Police said they found him slumped over the wheel of his car with what they said appeared to be gunshot wounds.
After months of searching for a suspect, police arrested Franklin on June 16 of 2020.
According to court records, she has been held in the Randall County Jail since her booking.
Her bond has been set at $250,000. Records say Ethan Murphy, her court-appointed attorney, filed a motion to reduce that amount in July.
However, that motion was denied.
