AMARILLO, Texas (KVII) — Amarillo police and the Special Crimes Unit are investigating after a man was found dead in a Northwest Amarillo home Monday morning.
According to police, officers were sent to a home in the 1600- block of LaSalle St. just before 8 a.m. on what was first described as a stabbing. When officers arrived, they found a man who was dead at the home. The man was not a resident of that address.
APD said the Special Crimes Unit responded to the scene and are investigating the incident as a homicide. An autopsy has been ordered by Justice of the Peace Richard Herman.
Police said there is no other information available at this time and no arrests have been made.
