Amarillo Police report the arrest of Anthony Laquin Price, 24, wanted in connection with the May shooting death of Koelenzie Cameron Mills.

Original Post 11:26 a.m. May 23, 2019:

The Amarillo Police Department has released the name of a 31-year-old man who was shot and killed early Thursday.

In a press release, APD said Koelenzie Cameron Mills was shot multiple times in his upper body and died at the Legends After Hours Club at 600 West Amarillo Boulevard.

The Amarillo Police Department said their Special Crimes Detectives were called to the scene to investigate.

They said Anthony Laquin Price, 24, is connected to the murder.

The Amarillo Police Department is looking for Anthony Laquin Price following an overnight murder on Thursday, May 23.

As of early Thursday morning, Price was not in custody, a murder warrant has been issued out of Potter County.

Police said Price is described as being 5’8’’ tall and weighs 145 pounds. Anyone with information on the location of Price is asked to call the APD Special Crimes Unit at 378-9468 or Amarillo Crime Stoppers at 374-4400.

At the scene, several numbers could be seen spray painted on the ground.
