Amarillo police are investigating an overnight shooting and stabbing at a night club. Police said they responded to a shooting around 2 a. m. atGuitar & Cadillacs. Witnesses told police that two people had been taken to the hospital. They also said there was a large fight and then they heard gunshots. Officers found shell casings in the parking lot of the nightclub. According to police, one victim, a 19-year-old male, was stabbed during the fight.

AMARILLO, Texas (KVII) — Amarillo police are investigating an overnight shooting and stabbing at a night club.

Police said they responded to a shooting around 2 a.m. at Guitar & Cadillacs.

Witnesses told police that two people had been taken to the hospital.

They also said there was a large fight and then they heard gunshots.

Officers found shell casings in the parking lot of the nightclub.

According to police, one victim, a 19-year-old male, was stabbed during the fight. He was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

The second victim, a 19-year-old female, was running from the gunshots and was hit by a car leaving the scene. She was also treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

No arrests have been made.

The Amarillo Police Department Violent Crimes Unit is investigating.
