AMARILLO, Texas (KVII) — Amarillo police have identified the man who was shot to death west of Amarillo Tuesday night.

According to police, 47-year-old Steven Ray Woodard was shot and killed in the 11000- block of Indian Hill Road.

Potter County deputies were first called to a home in the 11000-block of Indian Hill Road at about 11 p.m., Tuesday on a neighbor dispute. Police said a second call came in saying a man had been shot. When Deputies arrived, they found the man deceased with a gunshot wound to his upper body.

Police have only identified the alleged shooter as a 49-year-old woman.

APD said no arrests have been made and the investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
