Two men arrested Tuesday in connection with the death of a 19-year-old female acquaintance were scheduled for arraignment today on murder charges.

The body of Heather Deanna Park was found shortly before 4am Tuesday after she was struck by a train.

Two suspects, ages 17 and 21 were arrested Tuesday, said Lt. Ed Smith of the Potter-Randall Special Crimes Unit. Park had left her home about 3am to give a ride home to the two men, whom she knew, Smiths aid.

Police found Park's body at the railroad tracks in the 7200 block of East Amarillo Boulevard after BNSF engineers reported at 3:49 am that their train had run over someone on the tracks, Smith said.

'It's real dark right there, and the weeds are built up around there. Another train had just gone in the opposite direction just before that and they observed something on the tracks and they had radioed this crew,"
