John Paul Remlinger, 48, of Amarillo died September 21 of complications relating to injuries he received after being assaulted March 18 in the 600 block of North Fillmore street. An arrest warrant for John Wayne Cookson, 33, for his reported involvement in Remlinger's death. He is awaiting trial and is in the potter county detention center
