AMARILLO, Texas (KVII) — Amarillo police made three arrests in connection with a homicide investigation that began earlier this month.

Detectives obtained three aggravated robbery arrest warrants for subjects thought to be involved with the alleged homicide in the Eastridge neighborhood, according to an Amarillo Police Department news release.

On Friday, March 20, the APD Proactive Criminal Enforcement Unit (PACE) arrested 37-year-old Benito Ruiz and 34-year-old Evelyn Gonzales for their warrants. APD, along with the US Marshal's Office and New Mexico State Police, arrested 42-year-old Lopphay Gum Pratommarath.

All three suspects were booked into the Potter County Jail on their warrants.

APD's Homicide Unit continues its investigation into this incident.
