UPDATE 5-30-13

Investigators identified Jon David Fennel W/M (42) of Amarillo as one of the suspects in this case. On 5-7-13, the 47th District Attorney’s Office accepted a charge of aggravated robbery under cause 67072-Z against Fennel. He has not been arrested.

Investigators then identified the other two suspects that participated in this robbery. On 5-20-13, aggravated robbery charges were accepted on Marquis Dshon Wilkins BM 20 under cause #67129-Z, and on Stevon Kentrell Polk BM 20 under cause #67130-Z.

Polk was in custody at the Potter Co. Jail stemming from a May 1, 2013 incident leading to a murder charge.

Wilkins was in custody at the Randall County Jail on an unrelated charge at that time.

Jon David Fennel is a white male age 42. He is 6 feet 5 inches tall, has brown hair and blue eyes. If you have any information on the whereabouts of this man, call the Amarillo Police Department or Amarillo Crime Stoppers at 374-4400.

On 4-17-13, the owner of the Planet X at 1804 S. Bell reported that the business was robbed on 4-16, at about 12:55 PM.

He was not in the business when it was robbed, but three employees were there. The employees told him that three suspects came into the store.

One of the men locked the door behind him. All three were armed with handguns and wearing sunglasses. One of the men announced, “This is a stick up.”

The suspects held the employees at gun point and had them get on their knees and face away from them. The suspects took money from the register, along with what was described only as store product, and fled out the back door.

One suspect was a white male age 35-40, over 6 feet tall, 180 pounds, with blonde hair and thick beard. He was wearing a baseball style cap.

The other two suspects were black males about age 25, each around 5 feet 10 inches tall and slim. They were wearing black tee shirts, jeans, and baseball caps, along with sun glasses. No vehicle was seen. There were no injuries and there have been no arrests.
