VICTORIA, Texas – The Victoria Police SWAT team found a murder suspect today around 11 p.m. in the 400 block of Knowlan Ave. Jeremiah Reyna, 36, is accused of fatally shooting 30-year-old Samuel Acosta on July 26, 2020 in Amarillo. A Victoria Crime Stoppers tip led detectives to Reyna.

Reyna is at the Victoria County Jail facing the following charges:

• Murder

• Aggravated Assault With a Deadly Weapon

• Violation of Parole

The USMS Gulf Coast Violent Offender Task Force, the VPD Special Crimes Unit, and a VPD K9 Unit helped in the arrest of Reyna.
