A shooting at Amarillo bar Guitars and Cadillacs early Thursday left a man dead and another in the hospital, according to Amarillo police. Authorities said they were called around 1:50 a. m. on a report that 20-year-old Uvante Douglas and another 19-year-old man had been shot. Douglas died from his injuries. The other victim was taken to the hospital and is recovering, according to police.

AMARILLO, Texas (KVII) — A shooting at Amarillo bar Guitars and Cadillacs early Thursday left a man dead and another in the hospital, according to Amarillo police.

Authorities said they were called around 1:50 a.m. on a report that 20-year-old Uvante Douglas and another 19-year-old man had been shot.

Douglas died from his injuries. The other victim was taken to the hospital and is recovering, according to police.
