AMARILLO, Texas (KVII) — A bullet grazed the head of an 8-year-old boy during what Amarillo police called a road rage incident.
Eric Frausto said his son, Nicco, suffered a skull fracture, but x-rays showed there were no bullet fragments in his son's head.
Nicco underwent surgery on Saturday at a Lubbock hospital and was released Sunday.

Nicco was shot around 11 p.m. Friday.
Eric said another driver ran a red light and almost hit them.
When Eric honked, he said the driver, later identified as 58-year-old Frankie Lee Haigood, fired multiple shots, "hitting my son in the head."
One of the bullets went through the rear window and then through the headrest of the back seat where Nicco was sitting.
According to Eric, Haigood tried to get away, so he sped up and rammed into him.
An officer in the area drove up on the scene thinking it simply was a wreck that had just occurred.
But that quickly changed when she learned Nicco had been shot in the head.
