A man convicted of the 2017 Amarillo murder of Joshua Daniels will spend the next 25 years in prison. According to the 47th District Attorney's Office, Kyle Monnet was found guilty of first degree murder on March 12. The murder, which happened on Dec. 10, 2017, happened near the 800 block of Moore Street in Amarillo. Daniels was found on the ground with a gunshot wound. He died at the hospital.

AMARILLO, Texas (KVII) — A man convicted of the 2017 Amarillo murder of Joshua Daniels will spend the next 25 years in prison.

According to the 47th District Attorney's Office, Kyle Monnet was found guilty of first degree murder on March 12.
