Court records show Anson McFaul had previously been sentenced to 13 years in prison after he pleaded guilty to murder in 2000.

McFaul was arrested in 1999 in connection with the fatal stabbing of Jason G. Bouyea, 18, according to Globe-News files. Bouyea was stabbed Aug. 28, 1999, during an early morning fight.
