Hereford police are calling a man's death early Wednesday morning a homicide.

Police and paramedics responded about 2 a.m. to 603 N. Lee Ave., where they found Terry Hoffman, 31, of Hereford, bleeding from an apparent stab wound to the neck, authorities said. Paramedics attempted to resuscitate Hoffman, but he died on the scene, police said.

A justice of the peace ordered an autopsy be performed on the body in Lubbock, authorities said.

An ambulance transported a 27-year-old woman to Hereford Regional Medical Center for treatment, police said. When she was released, officers took her to the police station for questioning, police said.

No arrests have been made.
