Several drugs and multiple firearms were confiscated from a Borger residence after a search warrant was executed their on Wednesday night.


BORGER, Texas (KVII) — Drugs and multiple firearms were confiscated from a Borger residence after a search warrant was executed there on Wednesday night.

According to the Hutchinson County Sheriff's Office, the Hutchinson County SWAT Team along with narcotics personnel, patrol deputies and assistance from the Borger Police Department executed a search warrant in the 300 Block of Grand Street in Borger.

The warrant was obtained after police said they investigated narcotics being distributed from the residence.

During the search, police found 234 grams of Xanax, 580 grams of hydrocodone, 105 grams of cocaine, 32 grams of methamphetamine, as well as heroin, promethazine, LSD, Adderall, multiple pounds of marijuana, THC concentrates, Psilocybin mushrooms and ecstasy.

Authorities also recovered six firearms.

The Hutchinson County Sheriff's Office said 11 warrants have been issued for Josiah Johnson, 31, and one warrant was issued for Melissa Carrasco, 41.

"Information received suggests they are fleeing the area," said the sheriff's office. "If you have information regarding these subjects, please call Borger Dispatch at 806-273-0930 and provide the information or speak with a deputy."

Carrasco contacted ABC 7 on Friday and said she is not a fugitive.

She said while the sheriff's office told her a warrant was signed Thursday, the jail told her attorney and bondsman that their is no active warrant.

Carrasco said she would surrender once there is an active warrant.

ABC 7 reached out to the sheriff's office for clarification, but the sheriff's office is closed on Fridays. Dispatch said we would have to call back on Monday.
