On 8/29/18, Patt, Bernard Louis, Jr., black male, dob 05/14/1980 was arrested by Amarillo Police Department
at Northwest Texas Hospital where he had been treated for the following: doctors notes reflect closed reduction of nasal fracture and nasal septal, perforation and repair of nasal laceration, fusion of the spine cervical anterior and discect, discectomy and fustion C3-4, C4-5, C5-6. Diagnosis at discharge reflect acute weakness, assault, central cord syndrome closed fracture of nasal bone, constipation, herniated cervical disc, methamphetamine abuse, nasal laceration, unspecified protein/calorie malnutrition, victim assault
On 9/6/18 at approximately 1600 hrs, Patt, Bernard Louis Jr, was taken to the medical trauma room unresponsive. Emergency care was administered by Potter County Detention Medical staff until the Amarillo ambulance and Amarillo fire rescue arrived to transport him to Northwest Texas Hospital. During the trip he continued to receive life saving treatment. Upon arrival at Northwest Texas Hospital, Doctor Babb, the Northwest Texas Hospital Emergency Room physician and emergency room staff continued life saving treatment until he was pronounced deceased at 1650, 9/6/2018.
